Last Day of N.I.S.T Cancelled

PLEASANTON, Calif. - Sunday's games at the National Invitational Softball Tournament have been cancelled due to heavy rains that soaked the Sports Park overnight. SU's consolation bracket game with Santa Clara will not be played.
Arizona State was declared the tournament champion after going 3-0 in the championship bracket on Saturday. The Sun Devils were the only unbeaten team remaining in the tournament.
Syracuse finished tournament play with a 2-4 record. The Orangewomen now stand at 4-7 overall. SU continues its spring trip with a doubleheadher versus Miami (OH) on Tuesday at 6 p.m. The games will be played at Stanford.
