Women's Basketball BIG EAST Semifinal to be Televised in Syracuse

The Orangewomen's BIG EAST Tournament semifinal game tonight against Boston College will be televised live on Time Warner Cable channel 64 in the city of Syracuse and on channel 65 in the suburbs. SU's game is the second of a double-header with tipoff scheduled for 8:00 p.m. The first game features top-seed Connecticut and fourth-seed Villanova at 6:00 p.m.

The Orangewomen (18-11) are in the semifinals of the BIG EAST Championship for the first time since the 1988 postseason when Syracuse advanced to the championship game. Syracuse, the seventh seed in the tournament, advanced to the semifinal with wins against 10th-seed West Virginia, 80-60, and second-seed Notre Dame, 84-79.

The tournament is being held at the Rutgers Athletic Complex in Piscataway, NJ.
