The wet weather across Central New York has forced the cancellation of Thursday's doubleheader between the Orangewomen and Siena. The games will not be made up.

SU now has 10 BIG EAST games remaining on the schedule. Because of early season postponements, beginning on Saturday, April 27, the Orangewomen will play all 10 games in a five-day span. Syracuse is at Villanova on Saturday, Rutgers on Sunday, Pittsburgh on Monday, and then returns home to face St. John's on Tuesday and Seton Hall on Wednesday.

The Orangewomen are currently tied for fifth place in the BIG EAST with 14 points. The conference standings are determined by a 2/1 point system. Each team receives two points for a win, one for a tie and zero for a loss. The top four teams make the BIG EAST Tournament on May 9-12 in Salem, Va.
