No. 18 Syracuse Faces Hokies In The Dome

The 18th-ranked Orangewomen host Virginia Tech in their last BIG EAST game of the season on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. in the Carrier Dome.
Tomorrow’s game marks the second meeting between Syracuse (8-5, 2-3 BIG EAST) and Virginia Tech (6-9, 1-4 BIG EAST) in women’s lacrosse. The Orangewomen are 1-0 against the Hokies, beating them 14-6 last season.
Syracuse is 8-0 when it leads at half. The statistic was put to the test against Boston University on Saturday, April 20. BU came back from a 8-2 deficit, scoring nine goals in the second half to come within one, 12-11. Syracuse won the final draw control and held onto the win.
Junior Kim Wayne (Scarsdale, NY/Scarsdale) needs one more assist to become the all-time assists leader at SU. She has 56 assists in her career.
