SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The softball doubleheader between Syracuse and Pittsburgh will be played on Monday, May 6 at 3 p.m. at SU's Softball Stadium at Skytop.
The games were originally scheduled for April 13 at Pittsburgh, but were wiped out because of rain. The games were rescheduled for April 15, but again were postponed because of weather. The two teams pushed the date back to April 30, but the weather again refused to cooperate. Monday will be the last chance to play the games. May 6 is the last day for games to count toward the BIG EAST standings. Pittsburgh will be the home team on the scoreboard since the games were originally scheduled to be played at the Panthers' home field.

Seton Hall and Virginia Tech are slated to play on Sunday, May 5 in Blacksburg, while Boston College will host Pittsburgh on Sunday.
The top four teams in the league advance to the BIG EAST Tournament in Salem, Va. on May 9-12.
