Cross Country Competes at Blue Devil Invitational

Sophomore Tim Scarpinato (Croghan, N.Y./Beaver River) finished third in the men's race with a time of 26:13.2, while Aleccia Boland (London, Ont./Banting HS) was the top women's finisher with a seventh place time of 18:19.9.
Boston College won both the men's and women's races. Shawn Wallace was the top male runner of the day, crossing the line first with a time of 25:57.2. Julie Spolidoro ran the course in 17:20.0 to win the women's race. The Eagles' men's team had a final score of 30 while the women had 27 points.
Both Syracuse teams will next compete at SU's only home meet of the season, the Orange Classic, on September 21 at 10 a.m.
