Hopkins Named Honorary Chairperson of 2004 Big Brothers Big Sisters Event

SYRACUSE, NY -- Men's assistant basketball coach Mike Hopkins has been named the honorary chairperson of the 2004 Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl For Kid's Sake Event.

Hopkins is in his ninth season on the coaching staff at Syracuse. He is involved in all facets of the program and works specifically with the team's guards.

He earned four varsity letters with the Orangemen from 1989-to-1993 and was a two-year starter.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, May, 1, at Flamingo Bowl in Liverpool.
