
Orangewomen Take On Huskies On Saturday

The Syracuse women’s lacrosse team looks for its fourth straight win of the season against Connecticut on Saturday afternoon in Storrs, CT at 1 p.m.
The No. 8 Orangewomen (5-2, 2-1 BIG EAST) hold a five-game winning streak against the Huskies (3-1, 0-0 BIG EAST).
Sophomore Monica Joines recorded a career-high eight points (four goals, four assists) in SU’s 18-7 win against Colgate. Only three other Orangewomen have scored eight points in a game. Senior Kim Wayne holds the single-game points record with 10 (three goals, seven assists) against Connecticut last year.
Four Orangewomen recorded their first career points versus the Raiders. Freshman Paige Rasmussen recorded three points (one goal, two assists), while Jen Sadler tallied her first two collegiate goals. Defender Stephanie Walker also posted her first goal, while sophomore Alexis Fermanis dished out her first assist.
