
Duany Scores In Portsmouth Invitational Debut

PORTSMOUTH, VA -- Syracuse senior Kueth Duany had 12 points and helped lead his Portsmouth Sports Club squad to a 96-74 victory against Norfolk Sports Club in the first round of the Portsmouth Invitational on Thursday.
The Pourtsmouth Invitational is an annual event that features NBA draft-eligible college basketball players. The players are divided into eight teams that compete in the tournament. Duany hit 5-of-12 from the floor, including a three-point basket, and 1-of-2 from the foul line, in 25 minutes of work. He added three rebounds an assist and a blocked shot.
Portsmouth Sports Club has a second-round game on Friday night. The tournament concludes Saturday.
