Special Edition of "Inside the Orange" Airs Saturday

A special edition of "Inside the Orange" is scheduled for Saturday, May 3 at 6:00 p.m. on the Empire Sports Network. The show will feature the fourth annual Coaches vs. Cancer Basket Ball. SU basketball coach Jim Boeheim and his wife, Juli, serve as co-chairs of the event which raises money for the American Cancer Society and serves as a fundraiser for other programs as well.
The Boeheims will talk with Mark Johnson, the host of "Inside the Orange", about their roles in Coaches vs. Cancer and the annual Basket Ball. Other dignitaries who attended the event also visited with Johnson, including well known sportscaster Bob Costas, St. John?s basketball coach Mike Jarvis and Final Four MVP Carmelo Anthony.
The Basket Ball's proceeds remain in the Central New York chapter of the American Cancer Society.
