
Crouse Health Foundation Honors Boeheim

Boeheim was recognized for his support of national and local health causes. Boeheim has been involved in charitable efforts on behalf of the American Cancer Society's "Coaches vs. Cancer" program, the Children's Miracle Network, Kidney Foundation, Multiple Sclerosis Society, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Easter Seals, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Lighthouse, and Special Olympics.
Jim and his wife, Juli, have also committed to helping Crouse Hospital with the Kienzle Family Maternity Center campaign.
The Tribute Evening 2003 was hosted by Syracuse's OnCenter and featured nationally-known recording artist Maureen McGovern.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Crouse Health Foundation Endowment Fund, a permanent source of monies for equipment, programs and services at Crouse Hospital.
