Warrick Takes Part in Character Education Assembly

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse men’s basketball senior Hakim Warrick was at A.A. Cole Elementary on Tuesday, Oct. 26, to take part in the school’s Character Education Assembly on respect.
Warrick spoke to an audience of about 300 students from kindergarten through fifth grade about the idea of respect towards yourself, fellow students, adults and the community.
Warrick is a Preseason Wooden Award candidate in 2004-05. Last season, Warrick received numerous honors including second-team All-America recognition, National Association of Basketball Coaches Third-Team All-America squad, first-team All-BIG EAST, and was a finalist for three national player of the year awards – the Naismith, Rupp and Wooden Awards.
