SU Announces 2004 Spring Schedule

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse women’s soccer head coach April Kater has announced the team’s 2004 spring schedule. The slate is highlighted by two matches versus teams from Canada on April 24 and 25.
The team, led by newly-appointed captains, juniors Helen Fox and Sarah Elnicky, will kick off the spring with a tournament on Sunday, April 4 at Rider College in New Jersey. The squad will compete in a seven-on-seven and an 11-on-11 tournament simultaneously throughout the day. The tournament features Division I, II and III colleges from New Jersey as well local club programs.
Syracuse will play against other Division I programs in a tournament held at Fairfield University on Sunday, April 18. Two seven-on-seven teams made up of SU players will be entered in the competition.
The Orangewomen will end its spring schedule with two home games the weekend of April 24-25. Syracuse will compete against the Dixie Dominators, a Canadian team, on Saturday, April 24 at 2:00 p.m. and the Erin Mills Eagles, also from Canada, at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday.
