Van Gorden Named SU Scholar-Athlete of the Week

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Sophomore Lindsay Van Gorden of the Orangewomen softball team is the Syracuse University Scholar-Athlete of the Week for the week of April 5.
Van Gorden is a two-time member of the SU Athletic Director's Honor Roll and a BIG EAST Academic All-Star in 2003. She has played in 18 games this season and is batting .333.
Van Gorden and the Orangewomen host Binghamton on Wednesday, April 7, at 4:00 p.m. in a doubleheader. SU plays at BIG EAST rival Notre Dame in a doubleheader on Saturday, April 10, at 11:00 a.m.
