SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Senior Jacquelyn Walker tops a list of six members of the Syracuse University women’s lacrosse team that were named to the Spring 2004 Athletic Director’s Honor Roll. The SU Athletic Director’s Honor Roll recognizes those student-athletes who have earned a semester grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
Juniors Caitlyn Dragon, Alexis Fermanis and Monica Joines were also recognized. Joines, a political science and public relations major, and Walker, who graduated this spring with a degree in bioengineering, were also named to the 2004 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Roll.
Also making the honor roll were sophomore Stephanie Walker and freshman Emily Petley. Walker has made the list for four consecutive semesters, while Petley was a first-time honoree.
The SU women posted a 9-6 record this season with a 4-2 mark in BIG EAST play.
