
Women's Soccer Has 22 Student-Athletes on Athletic Director's Honor Roll

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The SU women’s soccer team had 22 of its players named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the Spring 2004 semester. Student-athletes must have a semester grade point average of 3.0 or higher to be honored.
The women’s soccer team produced the highest cumulative GPA of all SU athletics teams during the past year with a team GPA of 3.365. During the fall semester, 23 of the team’s 28 members were named to the AD honor roll.
Eight seniors made an appearance on the honor roll this spring. Jenelle Ferri, Megan Huez, Anne-Marie Lapalme, Christine LeMieux, Erica Mastrogiacomo, Nina Scalzo, Courtney Spencer, and Maureen Tohidi were each recognized.
Juniors Sandi Chmielewski, Sarah Elnicky, Helen Fox, Ariane Kaminsky, Shannon Myers, Stephanie Sybert and Lisa Yeh were also named to the honor roll.
Kristina Cristofori, Emily Kowalczyk, Sheila Menz, Jenna Richter and Nikki Spartano were the sophomores who earned the honor.
Freshman Molly McManus was a second-time honoree while her fellow freshman Chelsea Tracy-Bronson was a first-time honoree.
The Orange finished 2003 with a 9-8-1 overall record and a 2-3-1 mark in the BIG EAST.
