Switenko Named Scholar-Athlete of the Week

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Junior Alexis Switenko, a member of the softball team, has been honored as the Syracuse University Scholar-Athlete of the Week for the week of Jan. 10.
Switenko was named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll two times. She was also named a BIG EAST Academic All-Star as a freshman. She was selected to the 2004 CoSIDA Academic All-District Second Team. Switenko is enrolled in the School of Management at SU.
The softball team opens the 2005 season at the Arizona State University tournament in Tempe, Ariz. on February 11-13.
