UNC, Villanova, Wisconsin and NC State Set to Square off in the 2005 NCAA Syracuse Regional

Syracuse University and the Carrier Dome will host the 2005 Syracuse Regional on Friday, March 25 and Sunday, March 27. The first game of the Sweet 16 double-header will feature No. 6 seed Wisconsin against No. 10 seed North Carolina State. The game will tip off at 7:27 p.m. The second game will pit No. 1 seed North Carolina against No. 5 seed Villanova. It will begin 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game. Carrier Dome gates will open at 5:30 p.m.
Tickets are available at the Carrier Dome Box office (888-DOMETIX) or on the Carrier Dome website (www.dometix.com). Tickets for both sessions of the Syracuse Regional cost $90. Subject to availability, individual session tickets - $45 for Friday's semifinal doubleheader and $45 for Sunday's Regional final will be sold beginning Thursday, March 24th at 1 pm at the Carrier Dome Box Office at Gate B. Every person, regardless of age, must have a ticket or valid credential to enter the Carrier Dome for this NCAA Championship event. The price of tickets or parking will not be refunded for any reason.
Each team will hold an open practice on Thursday at the Carrier Dome. There is no admission charge. The public is encouraged to attend. If you plan to attend any of the open practice sessions, there will be limited free parking within walking distance of the Carrier Dome in the Stadium West lots. Better parking options for Thursday are the shuttle buses running from the Skytop lot, or the OnTrack train running from both Armory Square - $4 round trip plus parking, or the Carousel Center Mall - $5 round trip with free parking. The Carrier Dome will open at 11 am and close after the last practice at 4 pm. Concessions and merchandise stands will be open throughout the Dome.
