Dragon Honored as BIG EAST's Offensive Player of the Week

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Senior co-captain Caitlyn Dragon (Jackson, N.J.) has been honored as the BIG EAST Conference’s Offensive Player of the Week on March 21. Dragon scored a career-high six points, including four goal and two assists, in both of Syracuse’s victories last week.
Dragon helped the Orange turn around a two-game losing streak, registering six points in each of Syracuse’s two road wins last week. The senior set a new career-high for points (6), goals (4) and assists (2) in the win at Harvard (10-4) and then repeated that effort in the victory at Massachusetts (17-8). She also collected six ground balls and forced one turnover during the week.
Dragon leads the Orange in scoring this season with 22 points, including a team-high 16 goals and six assists.
SU returns to BIG EAST play on Saturday, March 26 when the Orange travels to Connecticut to take on the Huskies at 1:00 p.m.
