Men's Lacrosse Celebration Planned for April 16th

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse Athletics is planning a day of SU men's lacrosse festivities and celebrations when the Orange takes on Rutgers at 4:00 pm in the Carrier Dome on Saturday, April 16th.
The 1979 men’s lacrosse team will be recognized with an on-field presentation. This team was the first in SU lacrosse history to make it to the NCAA Tournament, beginning a long-standing tradition of postseason excellence that continues today.
We will also honor the 15-year anniversary of the 1990 team, often referred to as "the greatest team in the history of lacrosse." We will celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the 1995 team, and recognize the five-year anniversary of the 2000 team.
