'Cuse Cares Program Reaches Out

The 'Cuse Cares program, supported by Citizens Bank, has a strong presence in the community participating in a number of activities, including fundraisers, visits to area schools and youth programs, and the ticket donation program. More than 160 student-athletes raised $7,150 for the United Way of Central New York during the ninth annual Dollar Day at the Dome. Ten Orange teams were represented, including women's rowing, men's and women's swimming and diving, men's rowing, softball, men's and women's track & field, women's basketball, field hockey, men's soccer. In the nine-year history of the Dollar Day program, Syracuse student-athletes have raised more than $53,000 for the University's United Way Campaign.
