
More than 70 student-athletes are part of Syracuse University's graduating class of 2006.
SU Student-Athletes Prepare for Graduation Ceremony

The Syracuse University Class of 2006 will include more than 70 students who have competed in intercollegiate athletics for the Orange. The ceremony will take place on Sunday, May 14 in the Carrier Dome.
Three student-athletes, including Luk Boral (Poznan, Poland) from the men’s swimming & diving team, Sheila Menz (Webster, N.Y.) from the women’s soccer team and Greg Rommel (Syracuse, N.Y.) from the men’s lacrosse squad, were among the 12 students chosen as University Scholars and will represent the entire graduating class at Commencement. Of the 12 University Scholars, Menz was chosen as the 2006 Commencement speaker.
Billy Joel will serve as the keynote speaker at the ceremony which is open to the public.
