Charlotte To Return To The Dome

SYRACUSE, NY -- The Syracuse men's basketball team will host Charlotte on Wednesday, November 22, at 7:00 p.m. in the Carrier Dome. The Orange and the 49ers have met three times previously with Charlotte claiming two of the outings.
The most recent encounter between the two clubs was in 2003 when Charlotte defeated Syracuse, 96-92. The matchup featured a three-point shooting display by the 49ers Brandon Plavich, who connected on 10 threes, and Gerry McNamara, who answered with eight. It was Syracuse's season opener.
Charlotte was 19-13 overall and 11-5 in the Atlantic 10 Conference a year ago. The 49ers lost in the second round of the NIT at Cincinnati.
