
April Quigley garnered BIG EAST Honor Roll honors for the second time this season.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Redshirt junior April Quigley has been named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, announced the conference on Monday. Quigley directed the Orange offense with 158 assists and a 14.36 assists per game average in three straight wins, including two against BIG EAST foes Villanova and Seton Hall.
Quigley tallied 33 assists and added three kills in an Orange three-game sweep of non-conference foe Siena on Tuesday. Quigley guided the SU attack to a convincing .352 attack percentage against the Saints.
The Warwick, N.Y., native set a new Syracuse four-game single-match program record with 65 assists in the 3-1 win against Villanova. Quigley totaled eight digs and two kills against the Wildcats.
The redshirt junior collected 60 kills and eight digs in a critical 3-1 win against the Pirates on Sunday.
Quigley currently ranks first and sixth all-time with a 10.96 assists per game average and 2,598 career assists. This marks Quigley’s second BIG EAST Honor Roll laurel this season.
The eighth-seeded Orange meets first-seeded Louisville in the opening round of the BIG EAST Tournament on Friday at 1:30 p.m. (ET) in Milwaukee, Wis.
