Kicks Against Breast Cancer Flyer
Syracuse, N.Y.-The Syracuse women's soccer team will host a clinic for mothers and daughters on March 4 at the Carrier Dome from 2-6 p.m. The event will raise funds for the Kicks Against Breast Cancer cause and mission and all proceeds will be donated to the Claudia Mayer Cancer Resource and Image Center in Columbia Maryland.
The clinic is open to all players 12 and above and their mothers. Any number of daughters can accompany a mother. Price is $20 for pre-registered participants, $25 on the day of the event, and includes instruction, t-shirt, lunch and educational materials. All participants will take part in soccer skill activities, mother-daughter games, and a health awareness discussion.
This clinic is one of many put on by women's soccer programs across the country to raise money, provide information and expand awareness regarding breast cancer. It is a chance for area soccer players and their mothers of all fitness levels and experience to receive quality instruction from Syracuse University players and coaches, as well as learn about breast cancer awareness and raise money for a great cause.
Contact Syracuse head coach Pat Farmer for registration information and make all checks payable to him.
