Rautins Named To BIG EAST Honor Roll

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Syracuse sophomore guard Andy Rautins has been named to the BIG EAST Conference weekly honor roll for his play in Syracuse's February 24 victory at Providence. The Orange won, 71-67, thanks in part to Rautins' career-high 19 points, four assists and four steals.
With one game left in the regular season. on March 3 against Villanova, Syracuse owns a 21-8 record. Rautins has played in all 29 outings and has been with the first string 14 times. He's averaging 7.3 points per game and has 55 three-point baskets, the second-best mark on the club.
Rautins has been especially strong in BIG EAST Conference games. In 15 games, including 10 starts, he's averaged 9.3 points an outing, the third-highest average on the squad. In Conference outings, he's made 37-of-85 three-point attempts (.435).
