Ashley Miller Joins SU Softball Team

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Junior outfielder Ashley Miller joined the Syracuse University softball team and pinch ran for the Orange in its 10-5 victory at Pittsburgh on Saturday, April 7. Miller, who was serving as the team’s student manager, was added to the playing roster after injuries limited coach Leigh Ross’ in-game moves. Miller brings speed, leadership and a positive attitude.
The junior played two years of varsity softball and was named to the Times Union All-Star, Suburban Council All-Star and third-team all-state teams in 2004 while helping the Shaker Bison to the Suburban Council Championship.
