Princeton, N.J. – The Syracuse track and field teams opened the IC4A and ECAC Championship on Friday. After the completion of only seven events, the Orange women currently stand in eighth, while the men are ninth.
Princeton, N.J. – The Syracuse track and field teams opened the IC4A and ECAC Championship on Friday. After the completion of only seven events, the Orange women currently stand in eighth, while the men are ninth.
Sophomore Nana Sang-Bender led the women’s team, placing fifth in the 5,000m run with a time of 17:11.92. Senior Katie Simon also scored for the Orange, finishing seventh in the 3,000m steeplechase with a time of 10:51.67.
Sophomore Jeff Scull scored all five of SU’s points on the men’s side. Scull placed fourth in the 5,000m run with a time of 14:12.71.
