Syracuse Makes Dome Appointment With East Tennessee State

SYRACUSE, NY -- Syracuse and East Tennessee State will meet for just the second time in men's basketball when the Buccaneers visit the Carrier Dome on Saturday, December 15, at 7:00 p.m.

The two squads previously squared off on December 2, 1988 in the Carrier Classic. Syracuse emerged with a 120-81 victory.

ETSU is coached by Murry Bartow, the son of former UCLA coach Gene Bartow. The Buccaneers were 24-10 a season ago and were beaten in the NIT by Clemson, 64-57. The Tigers also ended Syracuse's NIT run.

Syracuse previously announced home non-conference games with Fordham (11/16), Massachusetts (11/28), Tulane (12/1), and Rhode Island (12/8).
