
Syracuse To Face Northeastern In The Dome

SYRACUSE, NY -- The Syracuse men's basketball team will host Northeastern to the Carrier Dome on Sunday, December 30, in a 1:00 p.m. tipoff. The Orange and Huskies have met five times previously with Syracuse owning a 5-0 advantage in the series.
The most recent encounter between the two clubs resulted in an 81-58 victory by the Orange a season ago. The series opened on January 11, 1975 when SU defeated Northeastern, 94-75.
Coach Bill Coen is in his second season at Northeastern. He guided the Huskies to a 13-19 overall record and a 9-9 mark in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) last season.
Syracuse has already announced exhibition games with College of St. Rose (Nov. 4) and LeMoyne (Nov. 7) as well as non-conference home games with Fordham (Nov. 16), Massachusetts (Nov. 28), Tulane (Dec. 1), Rhode Island (Dec. 8), East Tennessee State (Dec. 15), Colgate (Dec. 17), and Cornell (Dec. 22).
