Syracuse men's basketball coach Jim Boeheim and former players Demetris Nichols, Terrence Roberts and Darryl Watkins are featured in a local "Got Milk" campaign funded by the Onondaga County Health Department's Eat Well Play Hard program through the NYS Department of Health.

The image Boeheim and the three players, each with a milk mustache, is on a local billboard located on NYS 690 East just past the Midler Avenue exit.

Nichols was drafted by New York Knicks and played with the Knicks entry in the NBA Summer League in July. Roberts is rehabilitating from spring knee surgery. Watkins was not picked in the NBA draft but competed as a member of the Sacramento Kings in the NBA Summer League.
