
Onuaku Featured On "Inside The BIG EAST"

SYRACUSE, NY -- Junior center Arinze Onuaku will be featured in this week's edition of "Inside The BIG EAST." Onuaku, who missed all of last season with a knee injury, ranks fourth in scoring average (13.8) and third in rebound average (8.0) with this year's Orange squad. He ranks second in the BIG EAST Conference in field goal percentage.
Onuaku has earned a spot on the SU Athletic Director's Honor Roll in each of his five semesters on campus. He's also a two-time member of the BIG EAST Conference Academic All-Stars.
"Inside The BIG EAST" will also include a profile of Cincinnati men's basketball coach Mick Cronin, Providence junior Geoff McDermott and Seton Hall director of athletics Joseph Quinlan. West Virginia's Ted Talkington is the men's basketball scholar-athlete of the week.
Fans in the Syracuse area can watch the program on MSG on Friday, January 11, at 5:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. It will air again on Saturday, January 12, at 11:30 a.m. ESPNU will carry the program on Friday, January 11, at 11 p.m., and on Sunday, January 13, in between a basketball doubleheader that features Syracuse at West Virginia in game two.
