“Inside The BIG EAST” to Feature Coach Boeheim

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse faithful can catch Hall of Fame head coach Jim Boeheim on this week’s edition of “Inside The BIG EAST”. The Orange’s 60-55 win against conference foe DePaul on Wednesday marked Boeheim’s 765th-career coaching victory, surpassing legendary sideline general Henry Iba and matching Connecticut mentor Jim Calhoun for 10th-place all-time.
Through 31-plus seasons on the Syracuse sidelines, Boeheim has led the Orange to 29 20-win seasons, tied for second all-time, 25 NCAA Tournaments and three national championship appearances. Two seasons removed for SU’s magical journey to the National Championship in 2002-03, Boeheim was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame on September 9, 2005.
In addition to Boeheim, “Inside The BIG EAST” will profile Villanova forward Dante Cunningham, Cincinnati Athletic Director Mike Thomas.
Fans in the Syracuse area can watch the program on MSG on Friday, February 1 at 5:00 p.m. and on Saturday, February 2 at 11:30 a.m. Additionally, ESPNU will carry the show on February 1 at 6:30 p.m. and on Monday, February 4 at 6:30 a.m.
