
Orange Softball Earns 10-1 Victory Against Raiders

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse University softball team earned a 10-1 win in a late afternoon fall ball matchup with the Raiders of Colgate. The Orange host Binghamton tomorrow at 1 p.m. in its last match of the fall season. Syracuse is 6-1 in games played this fall.
Highlights From the Game
- Freshmen Jenna Caira and Gaby Torzilli and sophomore Angie Sagnelli shared the pitching duties for the Orange.
- Senior infielder Lindsay Wasek broke the game open in the fourth inning with a bases loaded double.
- Torzilli recorded four RBIs
- Freshman Lacey Kohl made a diving catch at third base to help secure the 10-1 win.
