“Notre Dame is one of the top teams in our league right now,” head coach Jing Pu said. “They are ranked higher than our team in several statistical categories. Our goal is to continuously improve our performances and achieve victories this weekend as we travel to Notre Dame and DePaul.”
Syracuse is coming off a tough weekend at home where it suffered two setbacks to BIG EAST foes Cincinnati and Louisville. Senior Marissa Kanemura led the Orange in digs tallying 43, including a career-high 32 against the Bearcats. Offensively, freshman Noemie Lefebvre proved to be the threat on the left-side for the Orange. She posted 32 kills in the two matches.

Against Villanova, sophomore middle blocker Jacie Fiedler tallied a season-high 17 kills. Also leading the Blue Demons were Caitlin Callaghan, who had 19 digs, and Sarah Cullen, who had her 14th double-double after recording 14 kills and 14 digs.
