SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Behind 10 points apiece from sophomore forward Paul Harris and freshman guard Jonny Flynn, Syracuse leads BIG EAST rival Connecticut 34-31 at the intermission. Flynn’s steal and lay-in on the opposite end as time expired provided the Orange with the three-point edge.

With the Orange trailing 29-26, Harris charged a personal 6-0 run with four free throws and a coast-to-coast lay-in, supplying SU with a 32-29 advantage. He grabbed a team-best five rebounds and boasted a perfect 6-for-6 shooting performance from the charity stripe.

Syracuse pushed its lead to a game-high four points after Harris electrified the Carrier Dome faithful. Following a steal at mid-court, the Niagara Falls, N.Y. native threw down a highlight-reel two-hand flush.

Flynn shot 4-for-8 from the floor overall, including a 2-for-4 showcase from beyond three-point range. He dished a squad-high three assists and corralled two rebounds.
