Mike Leveille/Steven Brooks Picked to LaxPower Senior Spotlight Team

CHESTER SPRINGS, Pa. – Orange attackman Mike Leveille (Delmar, N.Y.) and midfielder Steven Brooks (Libertyville, Ill.) have been named to LaxPower.com’s Senior Spotlight Team for the 2008 season. The team features the top seniors in NCAA Division I Men’s lacrosse.
Leveille and Brooks were chosen by the LaxPower staff based on their previous college statistics, accolades, achievements and professional lacrosse potential. A total of 26 players from 14 different schools will be highlighted this year.
Leveille, a 2008 Tewaaraton Trophy nominee, leads the Orange this season in points (15) and assists (7). He has started all 44 games of his career and holds an active streak of 42 consecutive games with at least one point. He has been named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District I At-Large Second Team in each of the previous two years and is a three-time All-American.
Brooks has tallied four goals and five assists on the season and ranks third on the team in points (9). In 2007, Brooks was named a USILA Honorable Mention All-American. Brooks is majoring in information management and technology.
