Davis’ performance earlier this season eclipsed a 36-year standard, established by Bruce Fisher in 1972. In the same race, Heath matched the school record with a time of 4:04.30.
Junior Jeff Scull placed first in the 3,000m run with an NCAA-qualifying time of 8:04.95. Scull’s performance is .15 shy of matching the Orange school mark of 8:04.80, set by Jim O’Connell in 1983.
