Syracuse And Oakland To Meet On The Hardwood

SYRACUSE, NY – Oakland will make its first-ever appearance on the Syracuse men’s basketball schedule this winter. The Orange will take on the Grizzlies on Friday, November 21, at 7:00 p.m. in the Carrier Dome.
The two squads have not met previously.
Oakland was 17-14 overall a season ago. The Grizzlies, members of The Summit League, defeated Western Illinois in the conference tournament before losing to Indiana-Purdue at Indianapolis in the semifinals. A season highlight came when Oakland defeated then-#23 Oregon State on December 22, marking its first triumph over a ranked foe during its time as a Division I member.
