
Orange And Big Red To Meet In the Dome

SYRACUSE, NY – The Syracuse and Cornell men’s basketball teams are scheduled to compete for the 116th time on Wednesday, December 3, in the Carrier Dome. It marks the second straight season and the sixth time in the last eight years the two programs are meeting.
Cornell is coming off one of the most successful hoop campaigns in school history. The Big Red were 22-6 overall and captured the Ivy League title with a 14-0 league mark. Cornell earned an automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament where the Big Red lost to Stanford.Syracuse was handed Cornell one of its six losses a year ago, an 80-64 result.
Steve Donohue is in his ninth campaign at the Cornell helm. He guided the program to its first Ivy League crown in 20 years last winter.
Syracuse has an 84-31 advantage in the series that dates to the 1900-01 campaign.
