SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse returns to conference play on Thursday when it hosts BIG EAST foe Pittsburgh at 7 p.m. at the SU Soccer Stadium. The Orange is coming off a 2-0 win against Binghamton on Sunday, which improved its home record to 3-0-2. Syracuse is 3-3-2 overall and 0-0-1 in BIG EAST play, while Pittsburgh is 3-0 overall, 0-1 in league play.
The game will be broadcast live on Orange All Access on SUathletics.com. Fans can purchase a subscription to Orange All Access for a rate of $79.95 for one year, $9.95 per month or $5.95 for a 24-Hour Pass.
Thursday’s contest is the final game in a four-game homestand for the Orange. Syracuse has not allowed a goal in the first three contests, posting a 2-0-1 mark in those games. Goalkeeper Eliza Bennett-Hattan became Syracuse’s career leader in shutouts with the 15th of her career against St. John’s. She has not allowed a goal in her last 283 minutes of play.
While the Orange defense has excelled, sophomore Megan Bellingham continues to lead the Syracuse offense. Bellingham scored her team-leading sixth goal of the season in the Orange’s victory against Binghamton. She ranks third in the BIG EAST in goals and fifth in points this season.
