Women’s Basketball Schedule Changes

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse’s game times at the 31st annual Carrs /Safeway Great Alaska Shootout basketball tournament have been finalized. Also, Syracuse’s home game against South Florida, originally scheduled for Saturday, February 7, has been moved to Sunday, February 8 at noon.
The Orange’s first match-up of the tournament tips-off at 11:59 p.m. ET on Tuesday, November 25 against first-time opponent Jackson State of the Southwestern Athletic Conference.
The winner of that game will square-off against the victor of the Cal State Northridge – Alaska Anchorage encounter in the championship showdown at 9 p.m. ET Wednesday, November 26. A third-place consolation match is programmed at 6:30 p.m. ET the same day.
The Orange opens the season on Friday, November 14 at Siena.
