Jason Hart, a four-year starter and member of the Syracuse University All-Century Team, has signed a free-agent contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves. Hart joins a roster that already includes first-round draft choice Jonny Flynn, who spent two years with the Orange before entering the 2009 NBA draft.
Hart has logged 336 NBA games in his career. He split last season with the Los Angeles Clippers and the Denver Nuggets. Hart saw action in nine playoff games with the Nuggets last season.
He also had stints with Utah, Sacramento, Charlotte, San Antonio and Milwaukee.
Hart earned First-Team All-BIG EAST Conference honors as a senior at Syracuse. He still ranks first in career steals and second in career assists with the Orange.
