Men's Hoop Itinerary Finalized

SYRACUSE, NY -- Game times and television assignments have been made to complete the 2009-10 Syracuse men's basketball schedule. The BIG EAST Conference announced the schedules for each of its 16 members on Thursday, October 1.
The Orange face a 31-game regular-season itinerary that includes 18 BIG EAST Conference games.
All 31 Syracuse games will be televised. The Orange are slated to appear on ESPN nine times: on December 10 in the BIG EAST/SEC Challenge against Florida, at West Virginia (Jan. 16), at Notre Dame (Jan .18), versus Georgetown (Jan. 25), versus Connecticut (Feb. 10), against Louisville (Feb. 14), at Georgetown (Feb. 18), versus Villanova (Feb. 27) and at Louisville (March 6). The matchups at Notre Dame (Jan. 18) and against Georgetown (Jan. 25) are "Big Monday" telecasts on ESPN. The Villanova encounter (Feb. 27) will feature ESPN's GameDay.
Another three outings have been selected for ESPN2 telecasts: the semifinals and finals of the 2K Sports Coaches vs. Cancer Classic in New York City on November 19-20, and a non-league encounter with Memphis (Jan. 6).
The Orange open the campaign with two home games in the 2K Sports Coaches vs. Cancer Classic. Pairings with Albany (Nov. 9) and Robert Morris (Nov. 11) will be televised by ESPNU. Syracuse is also on ESPNU for games at home against Marquette (Jan. 23) and at Providence (Feb. 23). SU has two ESPN360 telecasts - versus long-time rivals Cornell (Nov. 24) and Colgate (Nov. 30).
Syracuse has eight BIG EAST Network telecasts that will be aired locally on Time Warner: at Seton Hall (Dec. 29), versus Pittsburgh (Jan. 2), against USF (Jan. 10), at Rutgers (Jan .13), at DePaul (Jan. 30), versus Providence (Feb. 2), at Cincinnati (Feb. 7) and against St. John's (March 2).
Five other home games are local Time Warner telecasts: Columbia (Nov. 27), Maine (Dec. 5), St. Francis (Dec. 13), St. Bonaventure (Dec. 19) and Oakland (Dec. 22).
