SU Lax Team To Visit Smith Elementary

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Members of the Orange men's lacrosse team will make an appearance at Smith Elementary School in Cortland on Tuesday, March 10. The visit is one of many community service activities the team participates in each year as part of the 'Cuse Cares Community Service Program.
Players will meet with the elementary students at approximately 1 p.m. in the school gymnasium. They will discuss what it's like to be a Division I student-athlete and the importance of getting a good education. There will be a question and answer session following the presentation. The players will also sign autographs.
The Smith School houses classrooms for kindergarten up through sixth grade. It is located at 33 Wheeler Ave. in Cortland and it is part of the Cortland City School District.
