Jeremy Thompson Added To Tewaaraton Trophy Watch List

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Syracuse junior midfielder Jeremy Thompson was one of six players added to the 2010 Tewaaraton Trophy Watch List by the Greater Washington Sports Alliance on Tuesday, March 23.
Thompson joins Syracuse teammates Cody Jamieson, Josh Amidon, John Galloway, Stephen Keogh and Joel White as candidates for the award, which is presented to the college lacrosse player of the year.
Thompson has 11 points, including seven goals on the season. He also leads the Orange in faceoff winning percentage at .597 (40-67).
Stefan Bauer (Lafayette), Grant Catalino (Maryland), Jamie Lincoln (Hofstra), Mark Manos (Drexel) and Max Quinzani (Duke) were also added to the watch list.
The 2010 Tewaaraton Trophy will be presented on June 3 at the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian in Washington, D.C.
