A cast of Syracuse Orange will color the runway in the second annual Bella Casa Celebrity Fashion Show, which benefits the Ronald McDonald House Charities of CNY on Tuesday, April 27. The SU lineup includes: Chris Gedney, former Syracuse and NFL football player and assistant athletics director for major gifts; Shandrist Hillsman, wife of women's basketball coach Quentin Hillsman; Laurie Fine, wife of men's basketball associate head coach Bernie Fine; and Tim Green, former Syracuse and NFL football player.
The event gets underway at 6 p.m. with hors d'oeuvres and raffles, and the fashion show begins at 8:15 p.m. in the downstairs ballroom at the Nicholas J. Pirro Convention Center at Oncenter. Tickets are $50 per person, or $500 for a table of ten. Other celebrity models will also accompany the Syracuse cast.
In its first year, the Bella Casa Celebrity Fashion Show sold out with more than 450 guests in attendance and proved to be a great success for the Ronald McDonald House. Syracuse director of athletics Daryl Gross and men's basketball assistant coach Mike Hopkins participated in the event. Now in its second year, the show features a larger cast of celebrity models and fashions for hopes of an even bigger success.
