Hall of Famer Floyd Little to Greet Fans at Orange Season-Opener in Akron

Syracuse University All-American and 2010 Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee Floyd Little will be with the Orange as the team kicks off the 2010 season at Akron. Prior to the game, Little will greet fans and sign autographs prior to the contest at InfoCision Stadium-Summa Field on the UA campus.
Little, a first round draft pick of the Denver Broncos in 1967, will be located inside the southeast gate of the venue between 5-5:45 p.m., and will also participate in the coin toss on the field prior to the contest.
The three-time All-America running back at Syracuse, Little amassed more than 12,000 all-purpose yards and scored 54 touchdowns during his pro career, which spanned from 1967 to 1975.
SU is one of just six schools to have at least seven alums in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. In addition, Syracuse is one of just six schools to have 17 or more inductees in the College Football Hall of Fame and at least seven enshrinees in the Pro Football Hall of Fame
The Pro Football Hall of Fame, located in nearby Canton, is one of Saturday's game sponsors.
