Basketball Season Tickets On Sale September 8

SYRACUSE, NY – Season-ticket packages for Syracuse University basketball will go on sale to new season-ticket holders beginning Wednesday, Sept. 8, at the Carrier Dome Box Office and online at www.suathletics.com.
The men's season-ticket package includes 19 regular-season games and two exhibition games at the Carrier Dome. The itinerary features encounters with 2010 NCAA Tournament participants Northern Iowa (Nov. 12), Cornell (Nov. 30), Georgetown (TBA), Notre Dame (TBA), Villanova (TBA) and West Virginia (TBA). Eighteen of the regular-season games have already been announced with one open date still to be filled.
Veterans Scoop Jardine and Rick Jackson headline an Orange squad that reached the NCAA Tournament's “Sweet 16” in each of the past two seasons. Syracuse reached the top ranking in the nation last year, won the BIG EAST Conference regular-season championship and posted a 30-5 record.
Syracuse men's season tickets are priced as follows:
· Preferred Adult – $400 (additional donation required based on level)
· Third-Level Non-Preferred Adults – $420
· Third-Level Non-Preferred Youth (ages 12 and under) – $190
The women's season-ticket package features 19 regular-season contests. Fans will have the opportunity to see BIG EAST powers Rutgers, DePaul, Louisville, Pittsburgh, Providence, Seton Hall, South Florida and Villanova. National power Ohio State, 2010 NCAA Tournament participant St. Francis (Pa.) and regional foes Albany and Cornell will also make an appearance in the Dome during the non-conference portion of the schedule.
Seniors Erica Morrow and Tasha Harris lead a group of 10 letterwinners from the 2009-10 squad that advanced to the WNIT quarterfinals and won a school-record 25 games (since competing in the NCAA in 1981-82).
Syracuse women's season tickets are priced as follows:
· Courtside Adults – $125
· General Admission/Adults – $90
· General Admission/Current Men's Basketball Season Ticket Holders – $75
· General Admission/Youth (12 and under) – $45
· General Admission/Senior (60 and over) – $45
Single-game sales for both teams will start on Wednesday, October 13, at 10:00 a.m.
