SU-Virginia Game Moved To March 4

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Orange men's lacrosse home game versus Virginia has been moved to Friday, March 4 at 6 p.m. The game will be televised live nationally on ESPNU and represents the Orange's seventh scheduled national television appearance of the 2011 season.
The matchup was originally slated for Sunday, March 6 at the Carrier Dome.
Syracuse and Virginia are the top two teams in the both the Inside Lacrosse Face-Off Yearbook Preseason Top 20 and the Lacrosse Magazine Preseason Poll. The Orange claimed the top spot in both sets of rankings, while the Cavaliers are second.
Virginia holds a slim 14-12 lead in the all-time series between the two schools. The last three meetings have all been decided by one goal, including Virginia's 13-12 win last season in Charlottesville.
